Mission Statement:
"The mission of the Idaho Country Western Dance Association is to promote and enhance country western dancing in the Treasure Valley and throughout Idaho. Dances of primary focus include, but are not limited to, Country 2-Step, Country Waltz, Pattern Dances, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Night Club 2-Step, Country mixers and Line Dances. We believe that as dance skills improve, so does dance enjoyment. We believe that the medium of dance provides great entertainment, great social interaction, and will enhance the mental, emotional and physical well being of all those who participate."
We are a non-profit Corporation, established and filed on February 20, 2004, with the Secretary of State, State of Idaho.
Our purpose for incorporation is for, "Social recreational dancing and other non-profitable purposes."
Our intent is to promote country western dancing through competent and dedicated instructional dance lesson programs and workshops. Additionally, we intend to encourage community involvement through the formation of an organized demonstration dance team that will perform at various venues throughout Idaho and elsewhere.
Our Monthly Dances are held at the Square and Round Dance Center 6534 W Diamond Street, Boise ID 83709.
